To implement the quality policy “Our job is to satisfy customers”, Huayi Microelectronics organized the 2026 Quality Knowledge Contest from August to October 2026, themed“Craft the Chips with Huayi’s Ingenuity, Ensure Automotive-grade Quality; Promote Learning through Competition, Win the Future by Quality”. The activity aims to consolidate all employees’understanding of the IATF 16949 automotive quality management system, fulfill the work requirement of “Zero Anomalies at SOP”, foster a team culture of “competing, learning, catching up, supporting and excelling”, and drive the shift of quality awareness from passive compliance to active prevention.

The contest went through multi-stage selection: department-level preliminary rounds and excellent quality slogan collection in August, followed by two rounds of group PK for semi-finalists and popularity-vote wildcard rounds in September. Six elite teams stood out and advanced to the final in October. On October 21, an all-staff online quiz “Answer Questions to Win Cash Rewards” was launched via WeCom. It covered a wide range of questions on quality management, safety management, and SOP & process management. Employees completed the quiz within a time limit, and cash red envelopes were distributed based on their results. The activity spanned 12 first-level departments and more than 50 frontline teams, with active participation from all roles including production, quality, R&D and sales. The grand final of the 2026 Quality Knowledge Contest was held on the afternoon of October 25.

After review by the organizing committee, the award winners were confirmed:

- Excellent Quality Slogan Awards: 5 First Prizes, 10 Second Prizes, 15 Third Prizes

- Quality Knowledge Contest Awards: 1 First Prize Team, 2 Second Prize Teams, 3 Third Prize Teams

- Outstanding Mentor Award: 1 recipient

- Excellent Organization Award: 2 workstations

Packed with rich content, the contest drew enthusiastic participation. All departments and workstations fully motivated employees to learn, contributing to the improvement of quality awareness across the workforce.

At the closing ceremony, General Manager Xiao Zhicheng delivered an important speech. He fully recognized the well-executed event and emphasized: “Quality rests in everyone’s hands. One non-standard operation may trigger severe risks and erode customer trust.” On behalf of the management team, he clarified three bottom lines: quality takes precedence over schedule, zero tolerance for quality violations, and no compromise on quality investment. He required all staff to apply what they learned from the contest to daily work and build a culture where everyone prioritizes quality.

The contest has come to an end, yet quality learning is an ongoing journey. All employees of Huayi Microelectronics will uphold the quality policy, comply with IATF 16949 requirements and the “Zero Anomalies at SOP” rule, reinforce the quality barrier for automotive-grade products, and support the company’s vision of becoming a world-class power semiconductor supplier.
