State-level “green factory” is an important initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to implement the “14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development” and “Implementation Plan for Industrial Carbon Peak”, and authoritatively certify enterprises in line with the concept of “green development”. It is an authoritative certification granted to enterprises in line with the concept of “Green Development”. This certification is aimed at continuously improving the green manufacturing and service system, accelerating the green development process in the industrial field, and contributing to the goal of carbon neutrality of industrial carbon peak. In the process of declaring and recognizing national “green factories”, the standards are extremely strict. To be recognized as a “Green Factory”, a declaring company must ensure product functionality, quality, and occupational health and safety of employees during the manufacturing process, as well as achieve life-cycle intensive use of land, harmless treatment of raw materials, cleaner operation of the production process, resourceful reuse of waste, and low-carbon transformation of energy sources, before it can be recognized.
