On August 14th, HuaYi Microelectronics' 2.25MW EMC distributed PV project was successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. This important milestone marks a solid step forward in the utilization of renewable energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The PV project covers the roofs of Huayi's 1# and 2# main factories, which not only effectively utilizes the unused space, but also improves the indoor temperature of the top-floor factories in summer and reduces the company's air-conditioning energy consumption. The project is expected to generate 2.3 million kWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to 283 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1,805 tons per year.
The commissioning of this green energy project not only successfully reduces the operating costs of the company, but also helps to enhance the company's social image. It effectively practices the business philosophy of green and sustainable development that Huayi Microelectronics has always adhered to, and makes a positive contribution to environmental protection and sustainable energy development.
